Fall Fashion Show To Benefit ICU

Take a trip to the city of lights without ever stepping foot out of Southern California during Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Guild’s 25th Annual Fall Fashion Show, Luncheon and Boutique.

“Sunday at the Moulin Rouge” is a Carin Holmenas production and will take place on November 15, 2009, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. Tickets are $90 and include an opportunity to shop at the fashion boutique before sitting down to enjoy a delicious luncheon and elegant fashion show.

Seven hundred guests are expected to attend “Sunday at the Moulin Rouge,” with the goal of raising $50,000 for Henry Mayo’s new Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The fashion show will feature professional models in the latest designs provided by Margo’s and J. David Custom Clothiers of Valencia. The Guild’s 2009 Silver Rose Debutantes will also make a stylish appearance, escorted down the runway by their fathers or community leaders serving as “chevaliers.” A fashion-themed boutique with over 30 vendors begins at 10 a.m.

In its 25th year, this event—organized by the hospital’s Guild—has raised more than $1 million for laboratory services. Funds raised this year will benefit the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Henry Mayo.
